Todd Biddison, Project Manager Todd has over 25 years of marine industry experience, holding positions as Operations Vice President for Biddison Designs, Plant Manager for Four Winns cruiser division and Mako Marine, Product Manager for Wellcraft, and Vice President of Operations for Hydrasports. He takes charge of customer projects from start to finish.
Matt Chambers, President Matt joined Marine Concepts in April of 2006, bringing 18 years of composite experience. He was recognized as a Leader on the 1995 USA Today Quality Cup during his 5-year tenure with K2 Industries before turning his attention to the marine industry. His proven leadership, experience, and knowledge and understanding of quality systems, were honed while being the plant manager for both US Marine and Westport Shipyard. Additionally, Matt was VP of Manufacturing at Wellcraft Marine.
Jeff Chase, Technical Services Coordinator Jeff has over 25 years of experience in marine prototype development, having held engineering management positions at Wellcraft and Toyota Marine. He has also served in Production Engineering and Quality Control. His responsibilities include Metrology Supervisor, 3-D data acquisition, Reverse Engineering, Senior Designer and Quality Assurance
Brenda Cooper, Administrative
Assistant to Project Managers Brenda holds a BA in Education from Ohio Christian University and handles all administrative duties associated with the numerous customers of Marine Concepts. She has over 30 years of executive/administrative experience including a background in human resources and accounting.
Andrei Cular, Mechanical Engineer Andrei holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from University of South Florida as well as an MBA in Marketing from the University of Phoenix. He is instrumental in not only product design and engineering, but development of new materials and processes, and oversees the material Quality Control lab and IT department.
Richard Davis, Plug Building Supervisor Richard is a certified
Shipwright whose specialty is wood plug building with over 20 years experience. He
supervises the most talented plug builders in the business.
Darren Dubois, Project Manager Darren earned a BA degree from Western Washington University in 1996 and has held marine industry management positions with Wellcraft Marine and Bayliner Boats. His latest experience included four years of project management with Westport Shipyards where he was responsible for CNC technology in both engineering and manufacturing.
Pat Gross, Director of Operations Pat is a 32-year marine industry veteran, and held the plant manager position at Wellcraft’s highly successful runabout and fish boat facility. She is in charge of plant operations, scheduling, quality control, manufacturing services, and all day-to-day plant activities.
Chris Hughes, Project Management Chris tracks Marine Concepts/JRL Ventures complicated and ever-changing schedule of projects. He has custom millwork experience as well as being a commercial fishing captain, and holds a BA degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Florida.
Jim Iltis, Assistant Controller /Company Pilot Jim earned his degree in Business and Accounting from Michigan State University and served for four years as an Intelligence Officer in the United States Air Force. Jim has been the owner and CEO of nine businesses before coming aboard Marine Concepts/JRL Ventures.
Alain Lacasse, Project Manager Alain has worked in the marine industry for over 20 years holding Engineering Manager positions, as well as Quality Assurance positions with Wellcraft Marine, Wahoo! Boats, Chris Craft,and S2 Yachts. He takes responsibility for project management, engineering and design assistance, and quality control.
Sidney Lanier, Director of Product Development Sidney holds a BS in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from University of New Orleans. With over 20 years in the marine industry, he previously held engineering and designer positions at Combatant Craft Department, Wellcraft, and Hydrasports Boats. His responsibilities include managing design, engineering, and product development projects, as well as providing customer technical support.
Dan Locke, Senior Design Engineer Dan is a 20-year marine industry veteran and was instrumental in the Maxum Yacht Line development. He also worked in design at Christensen Motoryachts, and has over 20 years of Unigraphics and CAD experience. His responsibilities include design, engineering, concept development, and project management. Additionally, he serves as a manufacturing liaison with Marine Concepts/JRL Ventures customers.
J. Robert Long, Owner J. Robert Long is
one of the most well-known names in the marine industry. Bob was President of Wellcraft
Marine for over 17 years and previously held executive positions at AMF Crestliner and
Starcraft. He holds an MBA in Business and a BS in Industrial Engineering. Over his 35+
years in the marine industry, he has put together a team of professionals envied by many.
John Long, Mill Manufacturing and Facility Manager John earned a BA degree from the University of West Florida before coming to Marine Concepts in 1993 His responsibilities include design, engineering, and CAD/CAM/CNC applications. John manages all facilities and maintenance, Premill 3-Axis, Buck Erect and all Spray Extruding.
Kevin Long, Project Manager Kevin holds an Engineering honors degree from Florida State University. He is responsible for project management, sales, manufacturing support, and RTM development, and engineering and design assistance.
Joe Morgan, CAD Coordinator Joe has over 34 years of experience in the marine industry having been Manufacturing Engineer Manager and Engineering Manager with Cris Craft, Wellcraft, Hydra –Sports and Aquaporrts. His responsibilities include 3 CAD Modeling and quality assurance at Marine Concepts.
Francisco Murillo, Mold Building Supervisor Francisco has 20+ years of
experience, making him one of the industrys most knowledgeable fiberglass experts.
His team has a accumulative total of over 275 years in mold building and fiberglass
lamination experience.
Glen Naroth, Director of Engineering Glen has 20 years of engineering management experience, holding positions with Brunswick, Rex-Meyer, Vectorworks, and Wellcraft. He oversees the 5-axis milling machines, CAD/CAM/CNC Operations, and is responsible for design and engineering projects
Mitzi Sanders, Executive Assistant Mitzi earned a Bachelor’s degree from the Arizona State University school of Architecture and Interior Design. She has customer service experience gained through business ownership, and has valuable experience in marketing from managing Marine Concepts' trade show activities.
Mac Spencer, Controller Mac earned MBA and BS degrees in finance
from the University of Colorado before spending 30 years in the marine industry in
positions like Sr.V.P. of Finance and Administration at Wellcraft Marine and CFO at Donzi
/ Proline. He was also Group Controller for Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Mac oversees all
financial operations.
